The Story
A voice born from belief
Michigan native Andrea Felicia Chin is a Special Education teacher, MA, and the songwriter behind Frozen Roses. Her music is personal, purposeful, and rooted in the belief that a song can reach people in the places they can't talk about.
Andrea received the honor of being named a Finalist by the Song of the Year Songwriting Contest — an international competition supporting VH-1's Save the Music Foundation, judged by some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Grammy Award winners.
"Song of the Year is excited to recognize Andrea for her exceptional songwriting ability for the song No Way. Andrea competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor."

The Inspiration
What drives the music
Andrea's goal is to write that one song that reaches all people, at all places in life, in a meaningful way. Her dream: to have at least one of her songs recorded by one of her many inspirations — to work together on something real, with genuine meaning behind it.
My mother, Josephine, who adopted my twin sister and I — she taught me what true unconditional love is. To believe in and love someone and let nothing change that.
